Women of Wisdom Funding Request
Upon submission of the funding request form below, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive this email OR if you have questions about your application, please email us at fundingrequest@sweetcharityvt.com. Please DO NOT CALL THE STORE. Our store staff and volunteers are not involved in the grant funding process and have no information about the status of funding requests.
Funding Philosophy
Women of Wisdom is committed to funding the needs of individuals, families, and organizations within our community, with the goal of providing opportunities for hope, dignity, and self-reliance for our recipients. Our community includes primarily the towns of Addison County.
We offer grants up to $500 in the areas of health, social services, education, and the arts. There is no expectation of repayment for grant funding; however, should a funding recipient find themselves in a position to “pay it forward,” a contribution to WOW of any size would be greatly appreciated and used to further our mission.
Please note that a grant recipient may not receive a second grant within a 12-month period.
Applying for a Grant from Women of Wisdom
WOW accepts requests for funding at any time. You can apply for a grant using our application form. You can fill in the form below online or complete the form and drop it off/mail it to our store. Awards will be determined on an ongoing basis after review by our Funding Committee. We are a group of volunteers and strive to respond to requests in a timely manner. Please note that Sweet Charity store personnel are not members of the funding committee.
